Fashion influencers in Australia

Updated August 2026 · Vetted and opted in · Australia

Australian fashion runs on an inverted calendar, and that single fact decides most campaigns here. Creators are shooting linen and swim while the northern hemisphere posts knitwear, the heaviest discount period is the end of the financial year in June rather than late autumn, and back-to-school demand lands in January. A brief written to a global calendar arrives out of season, and the audience clocks it before the brand does.

We are signing our founding fashion influencers in Australia right now. Nobody is live in this niche yet, so if you make this kind of content here, this is an open door.

Founding creators

By creators, for creators

And for this region. The Creator List is built in Singapore and covers Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Australia, Hong Kong and Bangkok, where creator work is bought in local terms: UGC creators in Singapore and Australia, KOLs in Hong Kong, KOCs in Thailand. Same team, same vetting, whichever market you are casting in.

Built with the creators

The Creator List is not a directory somebody compiled from follower counts. The founding creators are involved in building it, and how rates are shown, what a brief has to include and what counts as fair usage all came out of those conversations.

They chose to be here

Every creator on the list put themselves forward and takes paid brand work. Reach out and you are contacting someone who is available and expecting to hear from you.

Their rate, their terms

The creator sets the price and it sits on their profile. You brief and pay them direct, the relationship is theirs, and nobody takes a margin in the middle.

For creators

It's your business.
We bring the briefs.

This is being built by creators, for creators. You set your rate, you talk to the brand direct, and you decide which briefs are worth your time. We are not an agency and we do not manage anybody. We keep the list short so the work that comes in is not spread thin.

We are early in Australia and we will say so. That is the opportunity: the fashion influencers who join now are the ones brands see first as this market comes online.

What works

Fashion content that performs in Australia

01

Try-on haul

A creator works through five to ten pieces on camera, showing each on their own body with quick commentary on fit and fabric.

It answers the one question a product page cannot: what does this actually look like on a person shaped like me.

Put this in the brief

Give sizes worn, the creator's own measurements to state on camera, and a clear order for the pieces you most want featured.

02

Styling: one piece, three ways

A single hero item restyled across three complete outfits, usually with the creator's existing wardrobe.

It raises perceived cost per wear and turns one SKU into a reason to buy rather than a single look.

Put this in the brief

Name the hero SKU, state the occasions you want covered, and confirm whether competitor pieces may appear in the styling.

03

Fit and sizing check

A short, plain video where the creator states their height, usual size, the size ordered and how it ran.

Accurate sizing expectations lift conversion and cut the returns that quietly eat fashion margin.

Put this in the brief

Ask for real numbers on screen, be explicit that honest fit feedback is welcome, and never script the verdict.

04

Drop day first look

Launch-day content timed to a collection release, restock or campaign day, filmed in advance and posted to schedule.

It puts urgency in a trusted voice at the exact hour your traffic spikes.

Put this in the brief

Lock the embargo time, supply the drop link and any code, and confirm whether stock levels can be mentioned.

05

GRWM with the outfit

A get ready with me built around a real occasion, with the clothes worn rather than reviewed.

It sells the situation the piece belongs to, which is how most fashion buying decisions are actually made.

Put this in the brief

Specify the occasion, the city and the time of day, and leave hair, makeup and voiceover to the creator.

06

Outfit repeat or cost per wear

A follow-up video weeks after the first, showing the same piece worn again after real use and washing.

Longevity content builds trust in quality claims that a launch video cannot support on its own.

Put this in the brief

Agree the second shoot date upfront, ask for honest wear-and-wash notes, and pay for it as a separate video.

Rates

Fashion rates move on wardrobe and on usage, not follower count. A creator who owns a strong personal wardrobe, shoots multiple looks in one session and delivers clean vertical footage prices above a creator who needs everything styled for them. Most fashion creators sit between S$250 and S$1,200 per video, a genuine KOL with a styling reputation can reach S$10,000, and paid-ad usage adds roughly 30% over organic-only. Expect to pay more for exclusivity within a category, for a specific body type or size range you cannot easily find, and for anything shot on location rather than at home. See the full rate bands →

Typically booked by local labels and blogshops, DTC e-commerce brands, department stores and malls, marketplace sellers on Shopee, Lazada and Zalora, footwear and accessories brands, jewellery and watch brands, activewear and swim, rental and resale platforms, eyewear, regional fashion retail chains. Working with fashion creators

What fashion creators actually sell

Fashion content works when it removes doubt. Singapore fashion e-commerce runs an add-to-cart rate of around 10.0 to 10.5% against a cart abandonment rate of roughly 85.5 to 86.0%, according to ECDB's Singapore fashion market data. People are interested. They stall at the point where they cannot tell whether it will fit, whether the fabric is thin, whether the colour is true.

That gap is the entire job. A try-on video showing a 1.58m creator in a size M, saying the sleeves run long, does more for conversion than another studio shot on a sample-size model. Brief for doubt removal and the rest follows.

Briefing that gets good fashion content

Send the right sizes. The single most common failure in fashion briefs is shipping sample size and hoping. Ask for height, usual size and measurements before you pick what goes in the box.

Be specific about the look you want and vague about everything else. Name the hero piece, the occasion and the platform. Do not write the script. Fashion creators build a personal aesthetic over years and that aesthetic is what you are paying for, so a locked shot list flattens it into something that reads as an advert.

State usage plainly. Organic post only, or organic plus paid, or paid whitelisting from the creator's handle. Each is a different price and each should be agreed before filming, not after you decide the video performs.

Timing around the calendar

Regional fashion buying clusters hard. Campaign days (9.9, 10.10, 11.11, 12.12), Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Ramadan and the school holiday period all shift what people shop for. Book four to six weeks out for these windows. Good fashion creators in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta are committed well before the date.

For creators thinking about going pro in fashion

Fashion is one of the easier categories to start in and one of the harder ones to price well. Your wardrobe is working capital. A creator who can style a brand's single piece into three complete outfits is selling a skill, not a post, and should charge accordingly.

Three things raise your rate faster than follower count. Consistent vertical footage with usable lighting. A stated size and measurement set, which makes you findable for the fit briefs brands struggle to cast. A willingness to give honest fit feedback, which is what turns a one-off haul into a repeat client.

Hold your line on usage. Handing over a video for organic and watching it run as a paid ad for six months is the most common way fashion creators undercharge. Price organic-only separately, quote roughly 30% more for paid usage, and put a term on it.

Working across APAC

Singapore is the test market. Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta are where volume gets cheaper and modest fashion is a serious category in its own right, not an afterthought. Hong Kong runs on KOL credibility and luxury adjacency. Bangkok's KOC culture rewards high-volume, low-gloss content. Australia is the outlier on climate, so seasonal collections need their own shoot.

Creators on The Creator List are independent businesses. They set the price, they choose which briefs to take, and they keep the client relationship. We are small and early, which means the fashion creators here now are the ones shaping how the category works on the platform.

FAQ

Booking fashion creators in Australia

Summer runs December to February, and interest in swim, holiday and warm-weather styling builds from October. Brief six to eight weeks before you want content live, which means commissioning summer work in the middle of a northern hemisphere summer. Christmas gifting also sits in peak heat here, so gifting content wants sunlight and outdoor settings, not a fireside living room.

Built for APAC, not bolted on

We are based in Singapore and we work across Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Australia, Hong Kong and Bangkok, so a campaign running in more than one of those markets gets put together in one place by people who know the difference between them. Tell us what you are promoting and we will come back with fashion influencers who fit, and what they charge.
