Travel influencers in Singapore
Singapore travel creators mostly film somewhere else. A weekend in Bali, a budget run to Bangkok, a long layover shaped into a Changi and lounge tour: the domestic list is short, so most of the work happens on short-haul routes out of here. That also makes the commercial question different, because covering a flight and a room covers the trip, not the content.
We are a small platform and these are our founding travel influencers in Singapore. Each one applied, was reviewed and takes paid brand work, so you can book them direct. We are always looking to bring more in.
By creators, for creators
And for this region. The Creator List is built in Singapore and covers Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Australia, Hong Kong and Bangkok, where creator work is bought in local terms: UGC creators in Singapore and Australia, KOLs in Hong Kong, KOCs in Thailand. Same team, same vetting, whichever market you are casting in.
Built with the creators
The Creator List is not a directory somebody compiled from follower counts. The founding creators are involved in building it, and how rates are shown, what a brief has to include and what counts as fair usage all came out of those conversations.
They chose to be here
Every creator on the list put themselves forward and takes paid brand work. Reach out and you are contacting someone who is available and expecting to hear from you.
Their rate, their terms
The creator sets the price and it sits on their profile. You brief and pay them direct, the relationship is theirs, and nobody takes a margin in the middle.
It's your business.
We bring the briefs.
This is being built by creators, for creators. You set your rate, you talk to the brand direct, and you decide which briefs are worth your time. We are not an agency and we do not manage anybody. We keep the list short so the work that comes in is not spread thin.
We are early and we will say so: Singapore is a small list today, built around founding creators with work on it that has run past 1.7M views. If you make travel content here, we would like you on it.
Travel content that performs in Singapore
Room and property tour
A walk-through of the room, the view, the bathroom and the parts of the property a booking page will not show.
It answers the exact question someone has open in another tab, which is whether this room is worth the rate.
Name the room category being shot and the three things you most want seen, then let the creator find the rest.
Honest cost breakdown
A trip or stay itemised out loud, with real numbers and what the creator thought was worth it.
Transparency about price builds more trust than any hero shot, and these consistently outperform aspirational edits.
Confirm you are comfortable with real figures on screen, including anything the creator paid for themselves.
48-hour itinerary
A tight, time-stamped route through a city or destination that a viewer could actually copy.
It is saveable and shareable, so it keeps earning reach months after the campaign window closes.
Give the creator the anchor stops you need included, then leave gaps for their own finds.
Unscripted trip diary
A raw, in-the-moment record of what happened, including the parts that went wrong.
Personality carries it, so it travels far beyond the destination's existing audience.
Set the non-negotiables and the safety limits, then give up creative control on everything else.
Booking or app walkthrough
A screen-and-hand demo of searching, booking, checking in or redeeming points.
It removes the friction that stops a warm viewer from converting, and it cuts well as a paid ad.
Provide a test account and flag any pricing or terms that must appear on screen.
Destination myth check
A short piece testing a common assumption, on cost, crowds, safety, weather or whether a spot is worth the trip.
It picks up search and comment traffic from people already deciding, and it reads as advice rather than advertising.
Give the creator the claim you want tested and let them report the honest answer.
Travel rates move on logistics more than follower count. A creator who has to block out four days, fly, shoot and edit is pricing time away from every other client, so a destination trip costs far more than a same-city hotel shoot even at identical reach. Ask what is included before you compare quotes: flights, accommodation and a per diem are usually separate from the content fee, and exclusivity in a destination or a competitor blackout period adds more again. Typically booked by hotels and resorts, tourism boards and destination marketing organisations, airlines, OTAs and booking apps, theme parks and attractions, tour and experience operators, cruise lines, luggage and travel gear brands, travel insurance, eSIM and roaming providers, credit cards and travel rewards programmes. Why travel content converts differently here
Travel is a considered purchase with a long tail. Nobody sees a reel and books a flight that afternoon, but they save it, send it to the person they travel with, and come back to it when the leave gets approved. That makes travel content a compounding asset rather than a campaign burst, and it changes what you should measure.
Regional demand for it is real. YouGov surveyed 17 markets in May 2024 and found 60% of respondents globally consider travel information from influencers useful, but the appetite in APAC runs well ahead of that: 86% in Indonesia and 83% in Hong Kong, among the highest anywhere in the study (YouGov, 2024).
Unpolished beats cinematic
The instinct with travel is to buy a beautiful film. It rarely performs. Yi Hui Ng (@__yihui) is a founding creator on our Singapore list, a deadpan travel and lifestyle creator with 20.3K followers whose top reel reached 1.7M views. That did not come from a colour-graded destination edit. It came from genuinely unscripted trips: hitchhiking across Japan on goodwill alone, backpacking on close to zero budget. The story was real, so people stayed for it.
If you brief a travel creator into a polished tourism ad, you have paid a premium for something your own agency could have shot. Brief them into their own format instead.
Writing a brief that survives contact with a trip
Travel briefs fail when they are too tight. Weather turns, flights slip, a restaurant closes. Give the creator a short list of non-negotiables, three or four things that must appear, plus any legal lines, and let everything else flex.
Be specific about the audience rather than the aesthetic. "Singaporean couples booking a long weekend under S$1,500" produces better work than "aspirational and premium". And confirm the practical details early: who books the flights, what the per diem covers, whether a plus-one is included, and when the creator is free to travel. Peak leave periods in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia get booked out months ahead.
Rates, usage and the things that inflate a quote
Content fees on the list run roughly S$250 to S$1,200 per video for most creators, and up to S$10,000 for a top creator or KOL. Paid-ad usage adds around 30% over organic-only. In travel specifically, three things push a quote up: days of travel, exclusivity, and whether the creator is handing over raw footage as well as the finished cut.
Creators set their own rates and are booked direct. There is no agency margin sitting between you and the person doing the work, and no minimum spend forcing a campaign bigger than you need.
Going pro in travel as a creator
Travel is the hardest niche to make pay, because the cost base is real. The creators who make it work do three things. They build a portfolio of paid-usage work, not just hosted stays. They specialise, on a region, a budget level or a trip type, so brands can see exactly who they reach. And they price time, not followers, because a four-day shoot is four days you cannot sell twice.
In Hong Kong the brief will say KOL, in Thailand often KOC, in Singapore and Australia usually UGC creator. The work is much the same. The rate card should not be.
Booking travel creators in Singapore
Yes, and it is the normal arrangement rather than a surcharge. A hosted stay covers the cost of being there. Filming days, editing time and the usage rights you want afterwards are separate, and they are the parts that take a creator's working week. Raise the fee at the briefing stage, before the dates are held, so nobody discovers the gap once the trip is booked.
Built for APAC, not bolted on
We are based in Singapore and we work across Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Australia, Hong Kong and Bangkok, so a campaign running in more than one of those markets gets put together in one place by people who know the difference between them. Tell us what you are promoting and we will come back with travel influencers who fit, and what they charge.
